Extended Day

Children in Extended Day

Our extended day offerings have changed due to COVID-19. Please see our Back to LCS page for special information for the 2020-2021 School Year.

Extended Day Policy

All students not involved in extracurricular activities who arrive prior to and/or stay beyond regular school hours must attend an extended day program. Any child on LCS property not being directly supervised by a parent will be asked to join Extended Day.

Lake Country School offers three Extended Day Programs: Children’s House Midday (CHM) for 3-4 year olds, Children’s House Extended Day (CHED) for 3-6 year olds, and Elementary and Junior High Extended Day (EJED) for 6-14 year olds. (See hours for each program below.)

Registration for CHED is done by contract for the time needed and billed monthly. EJED is drop in and billed monthly by attendance. Midday is full-week registration by contract only. Information regarding cost can be found on the application forms.

All extended day services end at 6:00 pm. Parents who repeatedly pick up their children after the 6:00 pm deadline may be asked to discontinue use of the CHED and EJED Programming.
