Extended Day

Extended Day Program

All students who arrive prior to and/or stay beyond the regular school hours of 9:00am-4:00pm (or 9:00am-12:00pm for CH Half Day) attend an Extended Day program. See hours for each program below.

Children's House

Registration for Children's House Extended Day is done by contract for the day/time needed and billed monthly. Full Day for 3-4 yr. old children is full-week registration by contract only.

Children's House Full-Day
Hours: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
This is optional Extended Day for 3-4 year olds beyond their morning (9:00am-12:00pm) program. Following lunch in their Children’s House classrooms and an outdoor recess, the children move to the CH Extended Day space for a period of rest and/or nap. Children who don’t nap will remain in their classrooms.

Children’s House AM and PM Extended Day (CHED)
Hours: 7:30 am – 9:00 am and 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Children’s House Extended Day for 3-6 year olds takes place in the Children’s House Extended Day environment and the playground for outdoor activities.

Elementary/Junior High Extended Day

Elementary/Junior High Extended Day is drop in and billed monthly by attendance. No registration is required. 

Elementary & Junior High Extended Day (EJED)
Hours: 7:30 am – 9:00 am and 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Elementary & Junior High Extended Day for 6-14 year olds takes place in the cafeteria and/or front and back play lots as well as the gym for large motor activities. Elementary/Junior High Extended Day (EJED) is a drop-in program (no contract required) and billed monthly based on attendance at a fixed-rate of $8.00/morning and $10.00/afternoon per student.
