SAVE THE DATE! The Next Great Great Gathering is Scheduled for OCTOBER 14, 2023!

Mark you calendars for the next Great Great Gathering happening October 14, 2023.

The Great Great Gathering is Lake Country’s annual fundraiser and social event, where the entire community comes together to celebrate all things LCS while supporting the school’s philanthropic goals. It’s a raucous evening full of excellent company, food, and drink with all proceeds directly benefiting students through enhanced programs, tuition assistance, and maintenance of the Urban and Rural Campuses. The event is free to attend and there are many ways to support LCS throughout the evening.

The 2023 Great Great Gathering raised a grand total of nearly $140,000 for Lake Country School! Thank you to all who donated their time, talents, and treasure to support this cause. The evening included the Take-a-Chance drawing to win $2,000 off next year’s tuition, a game of Heads or Tails for $300 worth of local restaurant gift cards, the Wall of Wine, and guests’ choices of 40 Great Gatherings and over 80 online items to sign up for and bid on.

The event also hosted the annual Fund-a-Need, which focused on appreciating all LCS faculty and staff by raising money for a one-time bonus. It was amazing to witness in person and we exceeded our $60K goal. We are so grateful for our wonderfully generous and supportive community. You can watch the video previewing this effort here.

What is a “Great Gathering”?

Great Gatherings are experiences hosted by members of the community. Each event has a set donation “price” to fundraise for the school. Events range from adult-only to whole-family outings, from simple walks or games to elaborate dinners to opportunities to learn new skills. They’re an excellent way to meet new families, try something outside of your comfort zone, or just fill an afternoon. Great Gatherings are a beloved and quirky LCS tradition that we hope you embrace with enthusiasm. You’ll have the opportunity to sign up for the gatherings live at The Great Great Gathering.
