Extended Day

Primary (Children’s House) Midday Program

Contracted; Billed MonthlyThis is a program for our three and four year olds to be at LCS for a full day. The program includes time to eat lunch in their classroom with guides and classmates, nap/rest time in the room across the hallway from classrooms, recess, and an afternoon snack.

• Offered Monday through Friday 12:00 pm -4:00 pm, this is a five-day/week program
• Billed monthly at a fixed rate of $36.00 per day
• With advanced notice, students enrolled can opt out of their enrollment on a monthly basis

*Children who need care after our half day Children's House program may take advantage of the Children's House Extended Day program.

Primary (Children’s House) Extended Day Program

Contracted; Billed Monthly

Before and after school care is available for anyone in Children’s House. At the beginning of the school year, families are able to select certain days of the week for their child to go to before and/or aftercare. 

Families must sign up for Extended Day in advance, it cannot be used on a drop-in/need-basis due to staffing. 

Choose your days and times of the week as needed:

• Morning: 7:30 - 9:00 AM
  • Billed monthly at a fixed rate of $10.00 per morning
• Afternoon: 4:00 - 5:30 PM
  • Billed monthly at a fixed rate of $12.00 per afternoon

In the event that Children's House PM Extended Day numbers exceed capacity in the CH spaces, Kindergarten-age students may be moved to join Elementary Extended Day.

With advanced notice, students enrolled can opt out of their enrollment on a monthly basis. To do so, contact Sarah Hollenback, Children's House Extended Day Lead.

Elementary & Junior High Extended Day 

Drop In; Billed Monthly

All students not involved in extracurricular activities who arrive prior to and/or stay beyond regular school hours (9:00 AM-4:00 PM) attend the Extended Day program. This Extended Day program may be used on a drop-in basis by any student in the Elementary or Junior High levels and is billed monthly based on attendance.

• Morning: 7:30 - 9:00 AM
  • Billed monthly at a rate of $10.00 per morning
• Afternoon: 4:00 -5:30 PM
  • Billed monthly at a rate of $12.00 per afternoon

Elementary/Junior High Extended Day meets before and after school in the Cafeteria and spends time there, as well as in the Gym, Back Lot, and Front Lot.
