We offer a variety of ways to engage and learn more about what Lake Country School can offer your child

Observe

We strongly encourage prospective parents/caregivers to attend one of our weekly Tuesday Observation sessions that are held mid-October through mid-May. During a Tuesday Observation, parents/caregivers of both current and prospective students observe in classrooms throughout the school, as well as participate in a Q&A session with our Head of School, Admissions Director, Pedagogy Director, and a faculty member. Attending an Observation is required to move forward in the application process.

Take a Tour

We offer small group tours as an alternative to attending an observation or for those who have initial general inquiries about Montessori education and Lake Country School. Tours are optional for prospective families and are intended for adults.

If you live out of town and none of these times work with your travel dates to Minnesota, please get in touch with Katie Haag to schedule an alternative time to visit LCS.

Open House

Our Admissions Open House was Saturday, December 6th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Current teachers and parents/caregivers from every level of the school were available to share their experiences in Montessori learning environments and what Lake Country School can offer your child. The Open House is an optional event for prospective families.

If you missed this event, we encourage you to sign up for a small group tour or an observation to learn more about LCS.

In addition to our in-person Admissions events, below you will find in-depth videos about Lake Country School that were intended to be a substitute for in-person observations during the pandemic.
