Technology at LCS

Lake Country School relies heavily on analog learning systems that make up Montessori methodology—this means that technology is introduced to students in a developmentally, age-appropriate way.

Technology in the Classroom

Montessori methodology promotes student learning with hands-on experiences and sensorial materials. However, Lake Country School understands that we live in an ever-evolving technological world, and technological fluency is imperative to student success today. While students are required to keep smartphones out of the classroom, they are introduced to technology like Chromebooks as tools for learning enhancement and accessibility. Technology is also used to accommodate special learning needs.
