Physical Education

At Lake Country School, physical education is taught from age three through eighth grade and is integral to our holistic approach to education.

We prioritize the development of physical fitness, motor skills, and social responsibility through a curriculum that blends structured activities with opportunities for free play. Our program emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal health, fostering lifelong habits of physical activity and well-being.

All students participate in Gym 1-2 times per week and have outdoor recess every day, weather permitting. Additionally, students have opportunities to walk to MLK Jr. Park for various events and activities throughout the year. Upper Elementary and Junior High students also take part in health classes and have opportunities to participate in extracurricular league and non-league athletics throughout the school year.
