Music, Drama, and Art

At Lake Country School, our approach to music and art education celebrates creativity, self-expression, and cultural appreciation from early childhood through adolescence.

Through a comprehensive curriculum, students explore various artistic mediums and musical genres, honing skills in composition, performance, and visual arts techniques. Our program encourages collaboration, fosters individual talent, and instills a deep appreciation for the arts, nurturing well-rounded individuals who are poised to thrive creatively in diverse contexts.

From simple crafting projects in our early childhood program supporting fine motor skills to writing and producing a full theatrical production at the upper elementary level, both performing and visual arts are incorporated into learning and an integral part of our educational tradition at LCS.

Music, Drama and Art Education

All levels of students take classes in Visual Arts and Music either one or two times per week. Each year, upper elementary and junior high levels have the opportunity to learn and produce a theatrical play and perform for the school community.
