Sites with information about Montessori education:

North American Montessori Teachers' Association (NAMTA) - a membership organization open to parents, teachers, and anyone else interested in Montessori education. NAMTA's website has extensive information regarding Montessori education.

Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) - founded in 1929 by Dr. Maria Montessori to maintain the integrity of her life's work, and to ensure that it would be perpetuated after her death. The AMI website also contains helpful information concerning Montessori pedagogy.

Montessori Training Center of Minnesota (MTCM) - in addition to providing Montessori teacher training, MTCM frequently presents workshops of interest to parents as well as Montessori educators.

AMI-MN - Association Montessori Internationale in Minnesota

All Kinds of Minds - information regarding differences in learning.

National Institute on Media and the Family - an organization dedicated to examining and providing information about the impact of electronic media on children and families.

Bright Water Montessori - serving children ages 16 months to 6 years in North Minneapolis, Bright Water was founded by former Lake Country teacher Ann Luce.

Children's Workshop Montessori - an AMI Montessori school located in Plymouth, Minnesota.

Great River School (GRS) - a Minnesota public charter Montessori school for junior high and high school students. Dr. Lawrence Schaefer, cofounder with Patricia Schaefer of Lake Country School, is the founder of Great River School. GRS is located in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Hershey Montessori School - an AMI Montessori school located in Huntsburg, Ohio, it includes the Hershey Montessori Farm School, a boarding and day school for students ages 12-15.

Little Flowers Montessori - with locations in Plymouth and St. Louis Park, serving children 16 months - 6 years.

Oak Hill Montessori - located in Shoreview, Minnesota, with AMI programs from infancy through Junior High.

St. Croix Montessori - located in Stillwater, Minnesota.

Sunny Hollow Montessori - located in the Highland Village area of St. Paul, Minnesotal.

White Bear Montessori - located in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
