Honorary gifts can be made to celebrate occasions such as birthdays, graduations, bar or bat mitzvahs, fly-ups or other festive transitions. Memorial gifts are frequently made upon the passing or the anniversary of the passing of a treasured individual. Frequently, Lake Country families will make a memorial gift to the school in support of and to show sympathy to another Lake Country family at the loss of a grandparent, friend or other family member.

When a gift is made to Lake Country School in memory or in honor of an individual, Lake Country notifies the family or individual of the gift and of the donor. Memorial and honorary gifts may be directed by the donor to the Annual Fund, the Endowment, or to a specific program or classroom.
