The Spring Auction

It’s the biggest party of the year! There are a number of ways to support the auction. The most important is to join us for the event! The auction is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2010. There will be great auction items, wonderful food and a whole lot of fun.

Another wonderful way to support the auction is to donate an item, service, gift certificate or host a Great Gathering.

We also need plenty of help both with planning the event and with working the night of the event. If you’d like to volunteer to help, please email our Development Department at mvrabel@lakecountryschool.org.

The Spring Plant Sale

Mark you calendar and join us for the annual Lake Country School Plant Sale on May 13 and 14, 2010. You can purchase organically grown, herbicide free annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs and hanging baskets. Many of the plants are grown by LCS students and staff at the Lake Country Land School!

To guarantee getting just what you want for your garden, you are encouraged to pre-order. All proceeds from the Plant Sale benefit the Lake Country Land School.

The brochure for the 2010 plant sale will be available on our website early spring 2010. Use Your Purchasing Power to Support Lake Country School

If you shop at Target stores or shop online, your purchases can benefit Lake Country School. Through the Fundraising Made Simple program of Target Co., 1% of all purchases made using your Target charge card can go to support the school of your choice. To participate in the program, call 1-800-316-6142, go to www.target.com or stop by the customer service desk at your local Target store, ask for the Fundraising Made Simple enrollment form and indicate Lake Country School (ID #9291) to benefit from your purchases.

Lake Country School is also registered with Onecause, an online shopping mall that donates back to the school when you make online purchases. Hundreds of your favorite stores are located at this site. When you make online purchases, the stores donate between 3% to 20% of the purchase price back to the school.
