Tuition & Fees

Application Fee:
A $75 application fee is due February 1st, along with the completed Application for Admission. This one-time non-refundable fee is for new applicants only and covers the cost of the application process. Tuition assistance applicants are not required to pay the application fee.
Registration Deposit:
A $500 registration deposit is due along with the Annual Registration Form and Contract. This deposit is applied to tuition at the time of enrollment but is non-refundable should the application be withdrawn. The registration deposit and contract for returning students are due March 1st.
Tuition and Fees for 2011 - 2012:
Tuition is payable in two installments billed prior to the due date. An alternative payment schedule may be arranged through the business office. A 1% interest charge is applied to all outstanding monthly balances.

Annual Fund:
Tuition covers approximately 90% of the cost of educating each Lake Country Student. The Annual Fund along with all other fundraising efforts at Lake Country School help to balance the operating budget that funds the school's missionto help children prepare themselves for life. The Annual Fund is essential to maintaining the exceptional educational environments that children experience daily, and every Lake Country family is expected to participate in the Annual Fund according to their means.
Parent Involvement Fee:
A $125 parent involvement fee is billed annually to each family. This fee supports the cost of school publications, parent education, and school events.
Extended Day:
Children's House and Elementary students who arrive prior to and/or stay beyond regular school hours must be enrolled in the Extended Day program through a separate contract. The fee is $6.00 per hour and is billed monthly based on the contractual agreement. Contracts may be adjusted on a monthly basis throughout the year to reflect family scheduling needs. Occasional drop-in use is available for Elementary students only, and is billed at $8.00 per hour. For more information on Lake Country's Extended Day programs, please click here.
Tuition Assistance:
Tuition Assistance scholarships are offered to all eligible families to the extent that funds are available. Eligibility is determined in part by application through School and Student Service for Financial Aid, which must be submitted to them by March 1, along with a $35 per-family application fee. SSS forms are available at www.nais.org/financialaid/sss for online filing. Also required is the LCS part of the application, available on the LCS website. Award notifications will be made by May 15 with priority given to applications from returning families. Families must apply each year to receive consideration.
